  • CrossFit is a fitness methodology built on constantly varied, functional movements performed at high intensity. In plain terms: you’ll run, lift, jump, row, push, and pull in ways that prepare your body for real life, whether that’s hiking a mountain or carrying groceries. Every workout is coached, scalable, and designed to build strength, endurance, and mobility over time.

  • Yes…when paired with smart nutrition and consistency, CrossFit can be an extremely effective way to lose body fat and build lean muscle. Our workouts are designed to increase intensity, burn calories, and improve metabolism, while helping you gain strength and confidence along the way.

  • Absolutely. Every workout at Salty Hive is scalable, meaning we adjust the intensity, weight, and movements to meet you right where you’re at. Whether you’re brand new to fitness or getting back into a routine, our coaches will guide you every step of the way so you can train safely and effectively.

  • Because it’s not just access to a gym…it’s access to expert coaching, personalized programming, accountability, and a supportive community that actually knows your name. At Salty Hive, every class is led by a trained coach who ensures you move safely, scale appropriately, and get the most out of your time in the gym. When you invest in CrossFit, you’re choosing a method that works and a team that cares deeply.

  • For most people, 3–5 classes per week is a great sweet spot. This allows for progress while giving your body time to recover. If you're just starting out, we’ll help you ease in and build a routine that supports your goals and lifestyle.

  • Classes at Salty Hive are about 60 minutes long, start to finish. Each session includes a warm-up, skill or strength training, and a workout of the day (WOD). While the full class is one hour, the WOD itself usually lasts anywhere from 8 to 20 minutes, depending on the focus of the day.
